All underwent a three-stage evaluation: formal, expert (artistic and economic) and strategic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artistic evaluation was carried out by Anna R\u00f3\u017calska (film producer), Agnieszka Smoczy\u0144ska (director of, among others,&nbsp;<em>The Lure<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>The Silent Twins<\/em>), Grzegorz Wac\u0142awek (producer and director of animated films), Jerzy Armata (film critic), Pawe\u0142 \u0141ozi\u0144ski (feature film and documentary director) and Micha\u0142 Marczak (director of, among others,&nbsp;<em>All These Sleepless Nights<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Economic evaluation was carried out by experts Zofia Jaroszuk and Anna Pachnicka (film producers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Strategic evaluation, in line with the objectives of the Gda\u0144sk Film Fund, was carried out by the GFF Programme Board: Pawe\u0142 Or\u0142owski \u2013 chairman, representing the Mayor of Gda\u0144sk; Magdalena Renk-Grabowska \u2013 representing the Mayor of Gda\u0144sk; Agnieszka Owczarczak \u2013 representing the Gda\u0144sk City Council; Aleksandra Szyma\u0144ska \u2013 representing the Operator\/City Culture Institute; Magdalena Sroka \u2013 representing the film community; Professor Marcin Adamczak \u2013 representing the film community; Professor Krzysztof Kornacki \u2013 representing the local film community, and Beata Dunajewska \u2013 representing the Gda\u0144sk City Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In the feature film category, two projects received funding:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PLN 400,000:&nbsp;<em>Minghun<\/em>, directed by Jan P. Matuszy\u0144ski, screenplay by Grzegorz \u0141oszewski.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PLN 300,000:&nbsp;<em>Brother<\/em>, directed by Maciej Sobieszcza\u0144ski, screenplay by Maciej Sobieszcza\u0144ski, Grzegorz Puda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In the documentary film category:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PLN 50,000:&nbsp;<em>Runa<\/em>, directed and written by Agnieszka Zwiefka.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In the animated film category:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PLN 250,000:&nbsp;<em>Grand Banda<\/em>, directed by \u0141ukasz Kacprowicz (Grupa Smacznego)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congratulations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remember to submit your applications to the next edition of our competition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Results of the 1st edition of the Gda\u0144sk Film Fund Competition A total of 18 projects were entered into the competition.
